ABOUT US

Doing what we do best – teaching pottery techniques with emphasis of the benefits of working with your hands for your mind and body. It’s not only about making ceramics, it’s about slowing down, working with your hands and enjoying a creative break from everyday routines. Many find the process almost meditative: you forget time, focus on the clay, and leave with both new skills and a calmer mind.

Mojca is the founder of Studio Roka. A ceramist and a design lover in love with contemporary aesthetics.

“Studio Roka is my second home and merges everything I love. Meeting new people, expressing myself creatively and spreading the love for handcraft. Welcome to our living room. I hope you feel this love in every visit!”

— Mojca Vidmar

Maria is our teacher and HR specialist, another friendly face in the team. Fun spirited and always well dressed :)

“I love that clay has a life of its own. Trying to tame it into something useful and beautiful is my passion”

— Maria Truija

Michael is our studio assistant, making sure everything can run smooth for our members and our team! Mostly elbows deep in clay. When not working, he is an aspiring artist.

She’s a creative talent and at the same time a calm, inspiring presence, someone you simply enjoy spending time with.

— Anna Hürlimann

Sina is a passionate potter who teaches with remarkable patience and precision. When she’s not immersed in her own creative work, she’s happily occupied with her new puppy.
